These pieces were all part of my learning and development. Most of them are contained in a single object, either 40^3 or 126^3. Magicavoxel translates so well to blocky architecture so buildings felt like a natural starting point.
This was my first piece. It's a little offshore lounge for you and a couple friends to hand and enjoy the sunset. I love the cleanliness. It's a fun challenge to work at a scale like this, where a whole voxel is bigger than most handheld items.
Quick City. These are so popular in Magicavoxel I just had to give it a shot. I'm planning on making more like this for May Sketch a Day 2019
First ship! I used a method I learned from a Timelapse by Sir Carma. He had a wonderful "sketching" technique that I applied here. It's a little bit of an ungraceful design but I was extremely happy with the colors and lighting (dat bloom)!
Quarantined Cave Exploration! This is another example of a piece that started as one thing but ended up being very different. It was my most "natural" setting so far and I'm happy with the technique, but without texture it looks so flat to me now.
